Banti builds simple machine learning workflows for generating insights about plant ecosystems. He has a BS and MEng from MIT, where he engineered computer systems and researched trajectory optimization for autonomous boats. Prior to joining Understory, Banti consulted for clients in the agri-tech space on computer vision systems and led the development of AI for logistics systems at Pickle Robot Co. Outside of work, he enjoys producing music and advocating for affordable housing in his community.
