Chris is an ecologist focused on understanding the drivers of healthy ecosystems in order to manage and conserve natural capital. He is currently pursuing a PhD at Stanford where he studies how human activity impacts marine resources. Before co-founding Understory, Chris was a US Fulbright Fellowship to Chile, and current NSF Graduate Research Fellow. Chris is based in Pacific Grove and spends much of his time at the local tide pools.
